Specialized Welding

Frontken includes specialized welding technologies in its arsenal to overcome surface engineering challenges. Welding processes are critical for surface rebuilding, recovery & repair works and it perfectly complements our business activities & focus in Surface Metamorphosis Technology.

Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is frequently referred to as TIG welding & is a commonly used high quality welding process.  TIG welding is a popular choice of welding processes when high quality, precision welding is required. Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), generally referred to MIG welding, is a semi-automatic or automatic arc welding process in which a continuous and consumable wire electrode and a shielding gas are fed through a welding gun.

Plasma Transferred Arc

Plasma Transferred Arc System (PTA) is a high energy, inert gas welding process. It produces a very high quality deposit offering optimal protection with minimal dilution or deformation of the base material. It is a process that deposits very precise coatings of perfectly controlled alloys on mechanical parts that are subject to intense wear, significantly extending their service life.
