Frontken Football Association VS LAM Research

 Frontken Singapore was excited to host yet another friendly footbal match with our valued customer Lam Research Singapore Pte Ltd. Right from the kick off spectators were kept at their edge of their seats. The deadlock was finally broken through a swift Frontken counter attack that caught Lam Research off guard. The early celebrations were silenced when Lam equalised and took the lead with a penalty before the break.
The match restarted and both teams played their hearts out. Frontken ended paying a hefty price for failing to make their chances count, the match ended with the Lam winning 3-2. |

Frontken TRIPLES pretax profit

For the first 6 month period ending at June 30th Frontken tripled its pretax profit from 2.2mil to 8.8mil while revenue jumped from 67.354mil to 71.253 mil. Frontken Corporation expects double digit growth this year boasted by its strong first half while maintaining growth for the rest of the year.
Key revenue drivers were the oil & gas and semi conductors sectors. On the company's expansion plans, it will be to expand to China and Middle East in the next 12 months.

 The Infineon On-site Service Suppliers Quality Performance Award 2010 was awarded to the group's Semiconductor services division, Frontken Malaysia Sdn Bhd of Kulim on 12th August 2010. As a result of improvement initiatives by the Zero Defect team, process control has improved and Infineon's 2009 process audit of our production system yielded a spectacular 95% conformance rate. The Zero Defect program is a joint-effort between Frontken and Infineon, led by En. Pauzi (Infineon) and Puan Mazwin (Frontken) with objective of achieving Zero CAR and elimination of complaints throughout the production flow. |

Frontken Football Club vs Lam United

 Frontken Singapore was excited to host yet another friendly footbal match with our valued customer Lam Research Singapore Pte Ltd. Once again the world’s favorite sport helped promote a healthier lifestyle within the organization. The match kept both spectators at the edge of their seats for the full 90 minutes. Employees not only forged stronger ties, but embraced the spirit of competition and friendship with our customer.
Despite being outplayed, the host deserved credit for continuing to display some good passing football, but which tellingly lacked a cutting edge in the final third. Both teams put up an exciting match with Lam Research eventually winning the match with a score of 5-0. |

Frontken signs MOU with ITE for Cooperation in Technical Education and Training

 Frontken has entered into a MOU with ITE (Institute of Technical Education, Singapore) for cooperation in technical education and training. Under this cooperation, Frontken will provide overseas Industrial Attachment (IA) at its plant in Malaysia for ITE students to acquire technical skills and knowledge. The IA will also expose ITE students to global trends and developments, work practices and a different cultural environment. The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) is a statutory board under Singapore's Ministry of Education, it provides pre-employment training and continuing education and training to working adults. The institution is well-known for its provision of a broad-based, multi-disciplinary curriculum that encompasses courses in Applied & Health Sciences, Business & Services, Design & Media, Electronics & Info-Comm Technology and Engineering.

Frontken teams up with US-based Sifco ASC for electro-plating capabilities upgrade

 Frontken has teamed up with Sifco Applied Surface Concepts (Sifco ASC), a division of US- based Sifco Industries Inc via its Singapore subsidiary. The new partnership will enable Frontken to use and apply the SIFCO Process, which is a unique portable technique of surface treatment via selectively brush electroplating without use of immersion tanks. With the flexibility to do surface treatment on-site or in the Frontken facility, this process offers a huge advantage in easing repair of big rotors for power generation and paper mill without the equipment being dismantled. In addition, the SIFCO Process is also used for enhancing components that are difficult to move around and it has specific properties like electrical and thermal conductivity optimised layers as well as for corrosion protection. |
